Braces for Adults

Over the years we have seen a steady increase in the number of adults looking into orthodontic treatment for straightening their teeth. We offer braces for adults! Some adults just want to improve the overall straightness of the teeth and others have functional problems that need to be corrected in order to improve the health and longevity of the teeth.

Many adults have one or more missing teeth and need restorative dental work or implants. We routinely receive dental referrals that request we correct the patient’s alignment and bite so that any future tooth replacements with implants, bridges or crowns can be completed on a good foundation. The more stable and well aligned the teeth are, the better and longer the new dental work you are needing will last.

It is not uncommon to treat multiple family members simultaneously and often times that includes a parent. We have a good mixture of people of different ages throughout the day in our office so you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable as an adult in treatment. We also see adults who are seeking jaw corrections and sleep apnea appliances.
